Ahmed Swapan Mahmud

Executive Director
Ahmed Swapan Mahmud is the founder of VOICE; a notable social advocate and researcher in global development scenario having 30 years of extensive experience in the field. He has experience of working close with UN and OECDs processes, particularly UN post SDGs and aid and development effectiveness processes. He represents as an executive member of several international networks. Before founding VOICE, he worked for national and international organisations as a senior development practitioner. Throughout his career he has extensive experience of designing, managing and implementation of development projects. Besides, he has been an academician teaching at different colleges and universities. He is also a poet, essayist, and critic and regularly writes in national dailies and international journals. Ahmed Swapan is graduated in English language and literature with political science and psychology and complemented his career through national and international courses.

Musharrat Mahera

Musharrat Mahera is a seasoned project management, communications, knowledge management, MRM professional with more than a decade of experience in areas of strategy development, resource mobilization, media relations, building brands and leading social and behavioural change campaign. She is skilled in capturing and visualizing organizational successes and impacts in both international development organizations and private sector. She has multiple degrees in English Literature, International Relations, Diversity and Inclusion Studies. She has extensive experience of working and managing development projects and research in reputed organizations like, Swisscontact, UN World Food Program, BRAC University, Fuel Pac Bangladesh Limited etc.

Priyata Tripura

Program Officer (Monitoring and Evaluation)
Priyata Tripura is a Program Officer (Monitoring and Evaluation) at VOICE who has experiences in development projects supported and funded by national and international donors, namely UN Women, CBM global disability inclusion Bangladesh, IWRAW etc. She has expertise of overall project management, monitoring and evaluation. Previously she was responsible for several projects focused on Indigenous rights, accessibility and gender and disability inclusion at Kapaeeng Foundation, Disabled Child Foundation (DCF) and Women with Disabilities in Development (WDDF). She has completed her Graduation major in Sociology from Eden Mahilla College.

Shanti Pada Saha

MANAGER (FINANCE & ADMIN)

Shanti Pada Saha is working with Voice as a Manager, Finance & Admin. He has 33 years of diverse experience working in development sector in Bangladesh. He is especially skilled in operating accounting systems, providing logistics support and resolving admin issues. He has strong liaisons with development actors and Government agencies in Bangladesh.

He is a post-graduate in Management.

Farjana Akter is the Outreach Consultant provided partial time to the organization. She is currently based in Sydney, Australia. She served VOICE as a senior Programme Coordinator for 12 years.
